"A neutral base for Norwegian home
Interior designer, blogger, stylist and owner of an online shop, Henrick chose clever strategy that allows it to offer a new interior regularly. With simple methods, it constantly updates its interior, adding its personal touches.
– With a neutral and serene base, you can replace some items and constantly refresh the interior, he explains.
Its basic colors are black and white.
He sees a lot of colorsduring his work hours and wants to have a neutral house.
– I think cleverly in a quiet environment. If you have a neutral base, it is easy to renew it with touches of color, cushions, lamps and accessories that can be easily replaced."

A modern barn in the Hudson Valley
The space had been renovated in the ’90s to be a more hospitable residence.

On the spot the owner said: "Our girls are going to get married on this lawn, It was like nothing else we’d seen."
Three years ago this family were in visit in this region of New York State and found themselves casually looking at real estate.
Nothing clicked until they turned up a quarter-mile-long driveway leading to a barn that had been built in the 1970s from centuries-old reclaimed wood; originally a bare-bones dwelling. The space had been renovated in the ’90s to be a more hospitable residence.
A regal willow tree stood sentry over the sloped property.
On the spot the owner said: "Our girls are going to get married on this lawn, It was like nothing else we’d seen."

Waterless and composting toilets.
As the woodland area didn’t have immediate access to a mains water supply. Furthermore, extending the sewer pipe system wasn’t possible – it would have been far too expensive.
A waterless loo was the only option and after some research, Miranda discovered the perfect solution in the Kazubaloo - a free standing waterless toilet system requiring no electricity, chemicals or mains sewage connection.Housed in an attractive cabin, the system would work by harnessing wind and solar power to dehydrate and evaporate waste into a safe, odourless material that could then be simply added to a compost heap.
